Our research aimed to understand how Renca can collectively manage the impacts of top-down change, especially with the arrival of the new metro line 7. We sought to move beyond traditional planning approaches by centering the voices of residents, recognizing that meaningful urban transformation must be shaped not just by infrastructure, but by the people who call Renca home. Through collaborative engagement, spatial analysis, and human-centered data collection, our goal was to produce insights and tools that could support inclusive, long-term development rooted in the strengths and aspirations of the community itself.
